   Proposal Description:
   Objective: To determine the interaction effect of APOE genotype with smoking and depression on cognitive decline in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or Alzhemiers Disease (AD) and the severity of neuropatholgy   for AD.     Specific Aims:    1) To determine the interaction effect of APOE genotype with smoking and depression on cognitive decline in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).    2) To determine the interaction effect of APOE genotype with smoking and depression on cognitive decline in individuals with AD.    3) To determine the interaction between APOE genotype with smoking and depression on cognitive decline on the severity of neuropathology for AD.
